GeoHunter is a free educational geography game. By playing you agree to these terms. If you disagree, please stop using the service.

2. Gameplay & Fair Use

  • Don’t cheat, exploit bugs or automate gameplay.
  • Don’t attempt to access private APIs or source datasets improperly.
  • Don’t impersonate the project or misuse branding.

3. Intellectual Property

Site design, game logic and compiled assets are © GeoHunter. Real‑world data sources remain owned by their origin publishers. Fan content & educational sharing is fine with attribution; direct code/content copying is not.

4. Data & Privacy

We aim to keep personal data collection minimal.

What we store locally:
  • Basic game stats (scores, preferences)
  • Settings like sound, hints, flag style
What we may process:
  • Anonymous usage analytics (trend insights)
  • Ad signals (for Google AdSense)
What we do NOT collect:
  • Government IDs, addresses or personal demographics
  • Sensitive categories of data

If you email or message us, your address/handle is only used to reply.

5. Advertising & Cookies

Ads are provided by Google AdSense. Google and partners may use cookies / local storage to deliver and measure personalised or contextual ads.

  • You can manage ad personalization at Google Ad Settings.
  • Browser controls let you block or clear cookies at any time.
  • Some non-personal cookies keep preferences (e.g. sound, flag style).

6. Accuracy & Educational Use

Rankings are simplified snapshots. They may be capped or approximated for balance. Use them as learning prompts, not definitive statistical references. If something looks wrong you can send a correction.

7. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use, inability to use, ad content, or third‑party links.

8. Changes

We may update these terms or the privacy section. Material changes will update the date above. Continued use means acceptance.
